Apitherapy: Traditional use or science?

The time for the use of apitherapy in traditional medicine has been gradually replaced. The characterization of the active substances of the different bee products and the scientific studies of its pharmacological properties are increasing their uses not only in modern medicine but also in cosmetic.

APITHERAPY CONFERENCE PROGRAMME

DAY 1 – 25th April

  • Arrival at Alicante airport according to each attendant´s schedule.
  • Pick up by a driver and transfer to Galúa Hotel which is a relaxing and fantastic hotel at La Manga beach (Cartagena), since our main goal is to make your stay as pleasant and enjoyable as possible.
  • Accommodation and Lunch arranged at the Hotel.
  • Free afternoon to rest and have dinner.

DAY 2 – 26th April

  • 07:30-08:30h: Breakfast
  • 08:30h: Pick up at the hotel and transfer to the CIM Campus of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena. Please click on the following link for further information about the place where the Conference will be held. As you can appreciate, it is a wonderful, peaceful and glazed place located at the seafront.
  • 09:00h: Welcome to all attendants, Presentation by Martinez Nieto S.A Company, Presentation of the speakers and Beginning of the Conference.
  • 09:30-10:30h:  Mr. Stefan Bogdanov’s Conference. The themes Mr. Bogdanov´s will speak about are as follows:

Royal Jelly: Biological Properties and Applications in Medicine ( divided in two lectures of one hour each on 26th and 27th )

  • 10:30-11:30h: Mr. Roch Domerego’s Conference. The theme of his first lecture will be about:

Apitherapy, a solution against nosocomial infection.

  • 12:00-13:00h: Mr. Stefan Stangaciu’s Conference. His first lecture will treat the following theme:

Use of Beehive products in clinical Human Medicine.

DAY 3 – 27th April

  • 07:30-08:30h: Breakfast at the hotel.
  • 08:30h: Transfer to Cartagena. Please be in time at the hotel hall.
  • 09:00-10:00h: Mr. Stefan Stangaciu’s Conference. The theme of his second lecture will be as follows:

Use of Beehive products in preventive medicine.

  • 10:00-11:00h: Dr. Ahmad Tageldeen Abdelhafeez’s Conference. Dr. Tageldeen will treat the following themes divided in two lectures, at 10:00h and at 12:30h ).

Uses of Royal Jelly and Propolis during pregnancy.

DAY 4 – 28th April

  • 08:00-09:00h: Breakfast at the hotel
  • 09:00-13:00h: Pick up at the hotel and visit to Marnys®– Martinez Nieto facilities.
  • 14:00-16:00h: Lunch arranged at the hotel

DAY 5 – 29th April

  • Breakfast and return journey.
