What is Saudi National Day

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia celebrates the Saudi National Day on September 23 of each year, the day on which King Abdulaziz bin Abdul Rahman Al Saud issued a royal decree (No. 2716, dated Jumada Al-Awwal 17, 1351 AH) to transfer the regions of Hejaz and Najd and their annexes to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Since the twenty-third of September 1923.

Saudi National Day Celebrations

The Saudi National Day is celebrated with traditional festivals, folkloric dances, and various cultural activities, which are coordinated in all major cities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. A celebration (Lights and Spectra) is also organized in Riyadh, the capital of the Kingdom.
